Has your physical location been temporarily closed due to COVID-19? Are you rushing to update your outdated website so your customers can access your products but now thinking that you should probably get a new website altogether?

Let’s face it, it feels a bit embarrassing knowing you’ve put off fixing your website only to unexpectedly have it be your most important online source for your customers? And now you’re rushing to get as much fixed as possible.

Take a deep breathe, of course you want a killer website your audience will love but right now is not the time to redesign you site. However, there are a few things you can add to your website to give it the value it deserves, and the best part is you can do them today, yourself or with some extra outsource help. Here they are:

  1. Updated Contact Section: Ensure that your contact email is connected and working on all platforms including Chrome, Safari, Windows, Bing, etc. and test it to make sure they work.

  2. COVID-19 Button or Notice Banner: When you make a COVID page be sure to add a link button on the home page or add small banner across the top of your website in a different color with a short COVID 19 message and a link to the page.

  3. Updated Content: This doesn’t mean to rewrite your entire website copy but simply scan your website and make sure to change any dates or years, Delete any information that is irrelevant or refers to the past or could sound misleading.

If you add the following information above to your website your business will strive and you won’t need to worry about redesign your entire website for COVID-19, at least not right this second.
